Terms of Service
By downloading, installing, or using Wakeve, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Service
Wakeve is a collaborative event planning app for creating events, inviting participants, voting on schedules, syncing selected events to device calendars, and using supported features offline with later synchronization.
The service is provided as is and may be updated, changed, or discontinued where needed.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Wakeve. Users under 18 must have parental consent. Account access may use email verification, Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or guest mode. Guest mode stores data locally and provides limited functionality.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity performed through your account.
User Conduct and Content
You must not use Wakeve for unlawful, harmful, abusive, spam, unauthorized access, or service disruption purposes. You are responsible for event titles, descriptions, locations, messages, and other content you create or share.
Wakeve may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or harm other users or the service.
Privacy
Your use of Wakeve is also governed by the Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to data handling described there.
Intellectual Property
Wakeve owns the app, brand, design, code, icons, and related materials. You retain rights to the content you create, and grant Wakeve a limited license to store, sync, and display that content to invited participants as needed to operate the service.
Third-Party Services
Wakeve may integrate with calendar services, authentication providers, and push notification services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimers and Liability
Wakeve is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, or scheduling accuracy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wakeve is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, or actions of other users.
Termination, Law, and Contact
You may stop using Wakeve at any time. Authenticated users can start account deletion in the app from Profile Settings, then Data Management, then Delete Account, and guest users can delete local guest data from the same Data Management area. If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by email. Wakeve may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of France, and disputes are resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
